Community Philosophy Circle “What is Intelligence?”

Paul Bodin and Caroline Lundquist will be co-facilitating the fifth in a series of Community Philosophy Circles What is Intelligence? scheduled to start promptly at 6:00pm on Wednesday November 15 in the Downtown Eugene Public Library.

Community members of all ages are invited to come together to explore the nature of intelligence in a public discussion led by high school students from A3, the Academy of Arts and Academics.

Here are some of the questions that will be explored …
• What counts as intelligence? Are there multiple intelligences?
• Is intelligence something we’re born with? Or is it developed or learned?
• Can other species besides humans be intelligent? What about artificial intelligence?
• How should we measure intelligence?

Come to the Eugene Downtown Library and be a part of this unique youth-led discussion.

All ages are welcome, and all public philosophy events are free.
