The Philosophy Department hosted a conference to introduce our graduate program to African American, Hispanic, Native American, and Asian American students considering graduate study in philosophy. Our Minority Recruitment Initiative was a campus event that gave prospective applicants the opportunity to meet faculty, see the campus, and meet current students in the graduate program. The conference was held on November 15 and 16, 2002.
