Nicolae Morar on UO Today

Nicolae Morar, Assistant Professor & 2016-2017 Wulf Professor of Humanities in the UO Departments of Philosophy & Environmental Studies, was interviewed by Paul Peppis for UO Today along with John Holmes, Director of Ethics for PeaceHealth Oregon & Adjunct Instructor of Philosophy at the University of Oregon. In the interview (available as streaming video online), Morar and Holmes discuss teaching PHIL 410: Clinical Ethics, crn 25022, at the University of Oregon during Winter 2017. The class examines theoretical ethical problems that arise in medical care. Half of the class is held at Sacred Heart Hospital River Bend Campus where students explore the practical application of ethics in a health care setting. Dr. Morar developed the class with support from the Oregon Humanities Center’s Robert F. and Evelyn Nelson Wulf Professorship in the Humanities.
