A reading and translation group of Ancient Greek Philosophy facilitated by Malcolm Wilson, Professor of Classics and Affiliated Philosophy Faculty, began in Spring 2016, reading one of Plato’s earlier dialogues, the Laches, and then moved on to a non-philosophic text, Lucian’s “Dialogue of the Dead.” The group is now reading the Odyssey.

Although Malcolm is away during Spring 2019, the group will continue to meet in his absence.  Interested parties may contact Malcolm Wilson at mwilson@uoregon.edu to get in contact with the present participants and learn about the current details.
