Naomi Zack was selected as the highlighted philosopher of the month for February 2013 by the APA’s Committee on the Status of Women because of her two recent ground-breaking publications The Ethics and Mores of Race: Equality after the History of Philosophy (Rowman and Littlefield, 2011) and Ethics for Disaster (Rowman and Littlefield, 2009), as well as several recently published articles on popular culture.
